It’s hard to imagine some of the unscrupulous medida and Democrats will let the Arizona tragedy go to waste. While I haven’t heard anyone blame Bush yet, that can’t be far behind, and ecstatic Sarah Palin and Tea Party haters must be near near orgasm by now. But the fact is, Loughner is nothing more than a loony-left crackpot who focused his insanity on 12 innocent people. He’s nuts.
One of Loughner’s classmates in high school and community college, Caitie Parker, voided much of the baseless media speculation with a few Twitter messages Saturday afternoon. Parker, herself a liberal, said Loughner was “a really good friend,” whom she described as having been “left wing,” “a political radical” and “quite liberal” when she knew him, although she lost touch with him after 2007 when he “became very reclusive.” Loughner was a “loner” and a “pot head,” Parker said in a Twitter colloquy with Anthony De Rosa of Reuters.
Just as the left-leaning media went after Conservatives when Timothy McVeigh bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, I expect the same thing next week when MSNBC and others get it in high gear. Wait for it.
